Buffalo Soldier Museum

Class'65  left the Underground Restaurants in the Tunnel to arrive above ground again on downtown Main.

​

We left on foot;  walked 2-2 1/2 blocks,  to explore the exhibits in the Buffalo Soldiers' Museum.  

​

There were many catalogued i we were very amused to find a room dedicated to the only female Buffalo Soldier who served and passed for a man.  Her cover was blown when she became ill and had to go to the infirmary.

​

The Movie Room was also very relaxing and cool after the walk over.  There was a short documentary on the "History of the Buffalo Soldiers.

​

Cameras were prohibited and we were unable to take any images.
